How to Play

  1. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard and press Play. The dog starts running straight away.
  2. Tap to jump across the gaps between buildings. Falling into a gap ends the run.
  3. Tap again while in the air for one double jump. You need it for wide gaps and tall water tanks.
  4. Land on floating girders to cross the widest drops, and on top of crates and machines if you like.
  5. Avoid running into walls, stacks and spikes. Collect paw treats along the way.
  6. The speed rises as you go and new patterns appear. Your score is your distance plus your treats.

Game Tips

  • Every jump is the same height, so learn one rhythm instead of trying to hold the button.
  • A small white dot above the dog means your double jump is still ready.
  • For wide gaps, jump close to the edge and double jump near the top of the first jump.
  • Tall water tanks are higher than a single jump. Double jump just before you reach them.
  • Treat trails often follow the safe jump line, so they double as a hint.
  • You can land on crates and air-conditioning units. Stepping onto one is safer than clipping its side.

About This Game

Dog Jump Rush is a fast one-button runner built for phones. It is quicker and snappier than our other runners. The whole screen is the jump button, every jump reaches the same height, and a second tap in mid-air gives you one double jump. The course runs across sunset rooftops, so the main danger is the gaps between buildings. Floating girders help you across the widest drops, and crate stacks, water tanks and spike strips sit on the roofs.

Obstacle patterns unlock as you go. It starts with small gaps and short stacks, then adds spikes, stair-step roofs, gaps that need a double jump, tall tanks, girder crossings and combinations of them. The running speed rises steadily up to a cap, and a banner marks every 250 metres.

Your score is one point per metre plus 10 points for each paw treat. One bump or fall ends the run.

Difficulty

  • Easy: the slowest speed and patterns that unlock later. You start with a shield that absorbs one hit or catches one fall, and shield pick-ups appear now and then.
  • Medium: faster, with rare shield pick-ups.
  • Hard: the fastest start and top speed, the earliest hard patterns and no shields.

Your best score is saved in your browser for each difficulty.

Features

  • One-tap controls with a double jump
  • Sunset rooftop course with gaps, girders, stacks and spikes
  • Obstacle patterns that get tougher as you run
  • Rising speed with milestone banners every 250 m
  • Shield on Easy that absorbs one hit or catches one fall

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Dog Runner?

Dog Jump Rush is faster, gives you a double jump and runs across rooftops, where falling into a gap is the main danger. There are also girders to land on, and one bump ends the run.

Can I jump higher by holding the button?

No. Every jump reaches the same height so the timing is predictable. Use the double jump when you need more height or distance.

What does the shield do?

It absorbs one crash into a wall, stack or spikes, or bounces you back up once if you fall into a gap. You start with one on Easy and can pick more up on Easy and Medium.
