How to Play Dog Running Games
The core skills behind every dog runner: where to look, how to read what is coming, and when a bone is worth the risk.
Your dog is off and running. Jump over crates, logs and hydrants, grab every bone you can, and see how far you can get before the pace gets too quick.

Dog Runner is our take on the classic endless runner. Your dog runs across a scrolling park, and the obstacles are spaced by distance rather than time, so the gaps stay fair as the speed rises. Early on you mostly get single hydrants, crates, logs, rocks and cones. Further along you start to see pairs of obstacles, stacked crates that need an early full jump, and bees flying at head height that you have to run underneath.
Your score has three parts: one point for every metre you run, 10 points for each bone, and 5 bonus points for every obstacle you clear. The difficulty setting changes the starting speed, how fast the speed rises, how close together obstacles appear and how many lives you get (three on Easy, two on Medium, one on Hard). Bees only appear on Medium and Hard.
The jump uses variable height. A quick tap gives a short hop and holding gives a full jump, and there is a small grace window that still lets you jump just after running off a ledge or just before landing. Your best score is saved separately for each difficulty in your browser. No account is needed.
Only when you run out of lives. The course keeps going and the speed rises until it reaches a cap for your chosen difficulty.
Hold the jump key or keep your finger on the screen. Letting go early cuts the jump short, which is useful for small obstacles.
In your browser's local storage on this device, saved separately for each difficulty. Clearing your site data resets it.
